We specialize in the design, construction, and maintenance of dedicated koi ponds, ecosystem ponds, streams, and waterfalls. This is an important distinction to make. Many landscaping companies offer water feature construction to broaden their service line. We eat, sleep, and breathe ponds. Having a water feature on your property is more than an experience, it's a lifestyle. At Dominion Ponds, we want to create a personalized water feature that our clients can enjoy for years. Our goal is to create a water feature that exceeds the expectations of our clients. To accomplish this we implore a variety of design techniques such as under-gravel suction grids, bottom drains, and bog filtration.
We are proud to be the only Helix Authorized Contractor in the mid-Atlantic area. The Helix Authorized Contractor network is a small family of master pond and waterscape builders from across the U.S. Thanks to social media, we are able to work and collaborate daily, sharing new ideas and knowledge learned in the field. We believe in continuous improvement, and continue to push the envelope on waterscape design. The Helix Life Support™ lineup consists of high-quality products made in America. Dominion Ponds is owned and operated by Bobby Brown, a northern Virginia native. Born in rural Aldie, VA, Bobby grew up on a small horse farm and started his first landscaping business at age 11, mowing lawns and other odds and ends. In 2009, Bobby met Eric Triplett "The Pond Digger" and was instantly the biggest fan of his work. A few short years later Bobby decided to follow suit and start his own pond business. Dominion Ponds believes in a renaissance approach to waterscape design, constantly learning, educating our clients, and growing the craft.
